How to print an article?

This guide shows teachers how to download an article for classroom use & understand the download limits.

Print (download) an article

  1. Find the article you want to share with students.

  2. Select Print on the article page.

  3. In the pop-up window, choose one option:

    • Download articles only

    • Download articles + Student reading levels

  4. A PDF will download to your computer. If your browser asks for permission, select Allow or Keep.

What’s included in the PDF

  • Both download options include six reading-level versions of the same article.

  • Quizzes cannot be printed. To use quizzes and our adaptable reading experience, assign the article to students directly on the site.

  • “Download articles + Student reading levels”:

  • This option adds an extra page that shows each student’s reading level and which version of the article to give them.

What are the download limits?

  • Monthly subscription: You can download up to 10 articles per month.

  • School or district license: Download limits depend on your license settings. Click your profile on the top right corner and "View licenses" to see the max paper downloads amount.
