Setting up a Clever Sync with RocketLit

Steps for District Tech Leaders to connect Clever to your RocketLit Rosters

If your district uses Clever to connect to third-party apps, you can quickly and easily sync data to RocketLit, including schools, classes, teacher accounts, and student accounts.

Additionally, Clever SSO can be used to sign in to RocketLit at our homepage: https://www.rocketlit.com/login/

Steps for Connecting to RocketLit

To share the Clever roster with RocketLit, please share the data with both RocketLit and InnerOrbit.

  • RocketLit allows teachers and students to log in through the Clever app

  • InnerOrbit is where the roster sync takes place

  1. Navigate to RocketLit on the Clever app gallery here:

    https://www.clever.com/app-gallery/rocketlit/

  2. Click "Install now" and request to share data with RocketLit

  3. Configure your sharing rules BY SECTION

    1. Please ONLY share science sections for the appropriate grades (RocketLit supports grades 3-12)

  4. Then, please also share data with our sister app InnerOrbit & match the EXACT roster data rule as RocketLit. Here is the Clever app for InnerOrbit: https://clever.com/app-gallery/innerorbit

  5. Email your Account Manager or support@rocketlit.com that you have connected with both InnerOrbit & RocketLit via Clever.

Once we have approved the request to connect, you’ll receive an email notification from Clever! We will take it from there and email you when the Clever sync to RocketLit is complete.

Additional Information about Clever and RocketLit

Can I share coaches and admins via Clever?

Not yet! If you need any school or district admin accounts on RocketLit, email your Account Manager or support@rocketlit.com with the admins' names & emails

Will the coteacher information be sent through the Clever sync?

Yes! Co-teachers will have access to their co-taught rosters on RocketLit if they are marked co-teachers in the Clever sync.

How long does setting up a sync take?

If all the information being shared from Clever to RocktLit is correct, launches take less than 1 week!

How do teachers and students log in?

After the sync launches, they can log in through the Clever button on our homepage or through their Clever dashboard.
