The RocketLit annotation features are designed to promote students' interaction with the text to develop a deeper understanding of the article content. This article will walk you through the steps on grading and giving students feedback on their annotations.
Students have 5 different options to annotate the articles. All annotation options come with a note pad on the side for students to type in their notes.

How to Review Student Annotations
โStep 1. First go to "Grading" > "Annotations" tab, and click into your article.
Step 2. If you just want to view students' annotations, simply click on "preview all annotations". You will then see student's notes and highlights below their name
Step 3. If you are wanting to grade & give feedback, click on "view annotations" next to each student's name.
Step 4. To view student's annotations, simply scroll through the assignment article.
Or...use the blue circle top right corner to skip to the specific notes.
Step 5. On the top section, you can grade student's annotation with plus, check and minus (blue box below). You also have the option to "add feedback" to the annotations (red box below). Don't forget to click save!
Students Viewing Annotation Feedback
For students to view your annotation grades & feedback, they can go to the "Scores" tab and click "view annotations". โฌ๏ธ
