When students first log in, they will take a three-article diagnostic, each followed by a short multiple-choice quiz. This diagnostic determines their initial reading level.

From then on, every article you assign will automatically adapt to their reading level. As students read more articles and complete assessments, their reading levels will adjust dynamically.

When you first log in, you’ll see a "Getting Set Up" section on your dashboard. Click on each checkmark to complete the setup tutorials!

πŸ“ Updating Your Profile

  1. Navigate to your RocketLit Dashboard.

  2. Under the "Update Your Profile" section, enter the following details:

    1. School Name

    2. City

    3. State

  3. Click Save to confirm your details.


πŸ“š Assigning an Article

  1. Navigate to the "Articles" tab.

  2. Enter keywords, vocabulary terms, topics, or NGSS standards into the search bar.

  3. Press Enter to view a list of articles matching your search.

  4. Click the gray "Assign Me" circle to assign an article to all your rosters (it will turn green).


πŸ“ Setting Up Your Rosters

  1. Navigate to the "Rosters" tab.

  2. To create a new roster, click the orange "Get Started" button.

  3. To import rosters from Google Classroom, select the red "Import Rosters from Google" button.
